My name is Sandra, and I am a product designer based in Austin, TX. With 5 years of experience, I specialize in website and app design in SaaS and health tech. I started in fashion design, working with brands like Calvin Klein, Vince Camuto, John Varvatos, and Rag&Bone before launching my e-commerce brand. Running my small business pulled me into the digital space, designing my website and understanding how people interact with products online. That’s what led me to UX/UI.

I’m thankful for the many exciting projects I’ve worked on over the years, such as;

• Redesigned an internal financial education dashboard to help employees better understand consumer segments and improve product sales (Pacific Life, 2021)

• Revamped a SaaS dashboard for 20,000+ affiliates, increasing adoption and efficiency (SMS Assist, 2022)

• Developed NoCoA, a solution that streamlined insurance payments and reconciliation workflows for orthodontic practices (OrthoFi, 2023)

• Designed a treatment planning tool to simplify billing processes and improve revenue optimization for orthodontic practices (OrthoFi, 2023)

• Redesigned the online enrollment experience for parents and donors, making it easier for families to sign up for camp and contribute to the nonprofit (Austin Sunshine Camps, 2019)

As a strong user advocate, accessibility is front-of-mind in all my work. I love Figma, building design systems and UI components, and I’m always experimenting with conditional prototyping to push my product experiences forward. Taking on complex design challenges is a big part of why I love my job.

In my spare time, I'm an amateur aerialist practicing aerial silks. I love to travel, go to concerts, and dance. My partner Michael and I care for our indoor jungle of house plants and our two dogs, Carl and Cooper.
